Body Detox - Day 3

A little late but yesterday's food intake was nearly identical to Day 2, so not much changed on that front. But what did change was something much more eye-opening.

Yesterday afternoon, I took just a small sip of my daughter’s "no sugar" drink—something I normally wouldn’t even think twice about. Within minutes, I had my usual hive pop up on my lip. It might not sound like a big deal, but for me, this could be a huge breakthrough.

For the past year, I’ve struggled with mysterious hives and inflammation. I’ve seen them appear out of nowhere, and I could never trace it back to anything specific. But now, after eliminating artificial sweeteners for just three days and reintroducing even a small amount, I’m starting to see a connection.

That one sip might have revealed something my body’s been trying to tell me all along.

Aside from that, I’ve noticed something else: my digestion is improving. For the first time in months, I’ve had solid, regular bowel movements two days in a row (TMI, I know-but this is why I am sharing). That’s a big deal for me, as I’ve been dealing with the chronic yucks and it disrupted both my routine and my health.

It’s these kinds of changes—subtle but powerful—that remind me why I started this detox in the first place. I'm still waiting on my parasite detox supplements (expected Tuesday), so I’ll share more about that process once it starts.

For now, I'm just grateful to feel a little more in tune with my body every day.

Day 3 Take away:

Sometimes the biggest shifts come from the smallest choices. Yesterday, I didn’t change what I ate—but my body gave me answers anyway.
